On June 29th in 2005 I HAD A CANCEROUS LUMP REMOVED FROM MY LEFT BREAST!

Thanks be to GOD for healing and keeping me cancer free for 20 years. I had 4 rounds of a strong chemo cocktail and 32 rounds of radiation. At the time I was 38 years old living in Atlanta GA with no immediate family. I had a great boss at the time that made provisions for my Mother to be with me for surgery and for my sister to be with me the following week. I was so blessed to have a connection to find Dr. Rogsbert Phillips, general surgeon that specializes in Breast Cancer at Emory Hospital in Atlanta GA.

I quickly became a member of Sisters by Choice ( a breast cancer support group for women under the age of 40 that Dr. Phillips started in 1989 ).

This was one of the best things I could have done.
